MYP Personal Project exhibition - DeSide - choose your side

 A solo exhibition by Yoanna Genkova, an 11th grader, ‘DeSide – Choose Your Side’ was put on display in the college foyer. The exhibition is the final part of Yonna’s Personal Project, which she did during the school’s MYP accreditation by the IB. ‘DeSide – Choose Your Side’ focuses on global ecological problems and uses recycle art, stained glass, abstraction and collage as a means of expression. All of the works in the exposition have been made of recycled and waste materials and if there is an interest, they can be purchased and the funds raised will be donated to environmental protection organizations.

Online teaching - 9th grade design projects part 1

When all schools in the country were locked down due to the COVID -19 in march, I had my doubts about teaching art online. I mean how can I control and supervise the creative process? What can stimulate my students to create and not to copy? But look at that!After two weeks of work, the students from 9th grades proved so well at being young designers that I am now proudly presenting some of their completed projects on graphic design, product design and game design.
